US Cellular Finally Gets 4G LTE Network

US Cellular may be a little behind the curve in terms of their network not supporting 4G devices but that is finally beginning to change. With US Cellular finally announcing its 4G LTE network, it gives USC customers something to be excited about.

What does 4G LTE mean exactly? Well, according to US Cellular's website 4G LTE is "the next generation of cellular technology to bring you access to data faster than ever before."

Well, still confused about the "LTE" part of the 4G name?  "LTE is an acronym for 'Long Term Evolution' and represents advancement in wireless technology in order to significantly increase both the speed and capacity of mobile networks. "

The 4G LTE network is currently only available on the Samsung Galaxy S Aviator (smartphone) or the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (tablet). The offering may be small right now, but expect for US Cellular's 4G phone selection to only grow from here.
